독일 브라부스(Brabus)가 아주 특별한 모델을 발표했습니다

 

얼핏 메르세데스 벤츠 G 클래스의 분위기가 느껴지지만, 브라부스 고유의 모델입니다.

고강성의 스틸 튜브로 프레임을 짜고 그 위에 카본 파이버 보디를 조합했습니다. 옆과 뒤의 보디 패널은 과감하게 생략했죠. 

 

엔진은 브라부스 900에서 가져왔습니다. V8 4.5리터 트윈 터보 엔진으로 최고출력 900마력까지 뿜어요. 최대토크는 127.5kgm에 달하고요.

 

 

덕분에, 2,065kg의 덩치임에도 3.4초면 0-100km/h 가속을 완수할 수 있습니다. 단, 높은 지상고와 오프로드 타이어 때문에 최고속도는 160km/h에서 제한됩니다. 오프로드에서 이 정도면 하이퍼카급 성능이에요. 지상고는 530mm에 달하고 휠 트래블은 160mm 정도 됩니다. 

 

올 여름부터 매년 5대씩 총 15대만 생산한다는군요. 값은 10억원 정도. 껌이죠? ㅎㅎ

2012 벤츠 CLS 슈팅브레이크 브라부스 튜닝 프로그램 고화질 사진들

The new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake has arrived! And like the first CLS that created a market for four-door coupes, the new five-door model redefines the sporty-elegant wagon. The exclusive final touch in the form of a sophisticated refinement program is now available from BRABUS. The extensive product lineup starts with sporty-elegant aerodynamic-enhancement components for all Shooting Brake models with or without AMG sport package, and features custom-tailored BRABUS wheels with diameters of up to 20 inches. Also part of the BRABUS portfolio are exclusive interior options and engine tuning that delivers up to 455 kW / 619 hp (610 bhp) of power, 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque and a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).

Sporty-elegant styling paired with aerodynamic efficiency is the trademark of all BRABUS body kits. As always, the body components for the new CLS Shooting Brake were developed in the wind tunnel. They are manufactured from flexible Pur-R-Rim high-grade plastics or from carbon fibers depending on the version.

The CLS 250 and 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY diesel models and the CLS 350 and 500 BlueEFFICIENCY with production aerodynamics outfit can be upgraded with the BRABUS front spoiler, the BRABUS front fascia attachments with integrated LED daytime running lights, the sport fenders and the BRABUS side skirts with integrated entrance lights. 

For vehicles equipped with AMG sport package BRABUS offers a striking BRABUS front spoiler lip that attaches to the underside of the front fascia. The CLS 63 AMG can be refined with an additional front spoiler and fender attachments with backlit BRABUS logo. Their clear-coated carbon-fiber construction lends the sport wagon full-blooded racing looks.

BRABUS Monoblock wheels in sizes ranging from 8.5Jx17 to 10.5Jx20 also play a major role in the exclusive BRABUS looks of the new CLS Shooting Brake. The OEM-quality alloy wheels are available in six different designs. The most exclusive version on offer features BRABUS Monoblock F, Q or R designs with a diameter of 20 inches. The latest addition to the BRABUS wheel family is the BRABUS Monoblock R wheel with especially innovative design. Two sets of five double spokes are arranged in two plains. While the inner set of spokes is painted a "Liquid Titanium" shade, the outer spokes are diamond-polished and afterwards sealed with a smoke-colored clear lacquer, lending the wheel its very own character. The largest tires supplied by BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA for the 20-inch version come in size 255/30 ZR 20 in front and in size 295/25 ZR 20 for the rear axle.

The BRABUS suspension options are specifically calibrated to the use of sporty low-profile tires. They were developed in tandem with technology partner BILSTEIN. The lineup ranges from BRABUS sport springs to complete suspensions and the BRABUS suspension module that lowers the ride height of cars equipped with the semi-active AIRMATIC air suspension system by about 35 millimeters.

BRABUS offers the world뭩 largest program of performance tuning for Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The ECO PowerXtra D4 performance kit bumps the power output of the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY by 22.8 kW / 31 hp and boosts peak torque to 560 Nm (446 lb-ft). 

For the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY there is BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S tuning. Thanks to its plug-and-play design the auxiliary control unit can be installed by any authorized Mercedes-Benz workshop and any BRABUS center of competence in less than 45 minutes. 

As a special feature this high-tech performance tuning system allows the driver to influence the power yield through the selection of the transmission program of the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic gearbox. In Eco mode only peak torque is increased, from standard 620 Nm to 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) between 1,600 and 2,400 rpm. This selection leaves the maximum power output unchanged. If sport mode is activated or gears are shifted manually, the increase in peak torque is accompanied by a boost in power output from 195 kW / 265 hp (261 bhp) to 230 kW / 313 hp (308 bhp) at a low 3,600 rpm. The tuned turbodiesel accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.9 seconds. Top speed is limited electronically to 250 km/h (155 mph).

It goes without saying that BRABUS performance tuning is also available for the gasoline-powered versions of the CLS Shooting Brake. The BRABUS B50 - 500 performance tuning was developed for the V8 Biturbo engine of the CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY. As the name indicates, this tuning kit produces 368 kW / 500 hp (493 bhp) and a peak torque of 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) and in conjunction with the BRABUS Vmax unit gives the wagon a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Two ultra-powerful tuning options are available for the top-of-the-line CLS 63 AMG model. Both BRABUS power upgrades for the 5.5-liter eight-cylinder Biturbo engine comprise an auxiliary control unit for the engine electronics and an additional water-to-air intercooler powered by an auxiliary electric pump. In both cases the lower temperature of the charge air benefits not only power yield but also engine longevity even under extreme operating conditions. After the installation of the BRABUS B63 - 620 version the driver commands 455 kW / 619 hp (610 bhp) of power at a low 5,500 rpms. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 900 to 1.000 Nm (663 to 737 lb-ft), on tap between 2,250 and 3,750 rpm. A sprint time from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) of just 4.2 seconds is just as unique for a wagon as is the top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph) that the car attains in conjunction with the BRABUS V/max unit.

As an ideal complement to the engine tuning, BRABUS offers a sport exhaust system with butterfly valve for the CLS 63. At the push of a button on the steering wheel the driver can switch between a discrete and quiet 밅oming Home� mode and 밪port,� which produces a decidedly sporty exhaust note. The stainless-steel exhaust system also adds some visual highlights with its two beautifully styled ceramic-coated dual tailpipes.

For all other CLS engines BRABUS offers fully stainless-steel quad sport exhaust systems. The precision-calibrated exhaust systems also optimize power yield and produce a sportier exhaust note. 

A BRABUS clutch-type limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent optimizes traction and handling in fast corners on all CLS versions.

All BRABUS engines are operated with MOTUL high-performance lubricants and like all BRABUS components are backed by the one-of-a-kind BRABUS limited tuning warranty of three years up to 100,000 kilometers / 62,000 miles (see BRABUS warranty conditions, updated November 2006).  

Exclusive interior design that leaves nothing to be desired is yet another BRABUS specialty that comes to life in the company upholstery shop. The product lineup for the new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake ranges from attractive accessories to custom-tailored interiors crafted from especially soft, breathable and highly durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara. Scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo, a speedometer with 340-km/h or 400-km/h dial (211 or 250 mph) and the tables for the rear compartment that attach to the back of the front seats add sporty highlights as do decidedly sporty aluminum components such as pedal pads, door-lock pins and shift paddles for the steering wheel. High-end clear-coated carbon-fiber inlays for dashboard and center console in any desired color are also part of the program as are wood inlays in any desired color and with any desired grain.

To top it all off, BRABUS offers a custom-tailored multimedia concept for the five-door CLS � including the integration of an Apple iPad if desired.

벤츠 스페셜리스트인 브라부스(Brabus)가 E클래스 카브리올레를 몬스터로 만들었다. 세계 최고출력&최고속 4시터 카브리올레에 오른 브라부스 800 E V12 카브리올레가 그 주인공이다. 지난 제네바모터쇼에 등장한 800 E V12 쿠페와 같은 파워트레인을 품고 있으며 S600의 5.5L 엔진을 바탕으로 배기량을 6.3L로 키우고 헤드와 흡배기 등 거의 대부분을 브라부스가 다시 손본 유닛이다. 최고출력 800마력을 내며, 최대토크는 1,100Nm(자동제한)에 달한다. 강력한 엔진을 바탕으로 제로백을 3.7초 만에 끝내고 0-200km/h 9.9초, 0-300km/h 23.9초의 고성능을 자랑하며 최고시속 370km/h로 달릴 수 있다.

앞뒤 범퍼를 고속주행에 맞춰 다시 설계했고 스포일러와 디퓨저를 개선해 다운포스를 강화했다. 카본 파이버로 만든 리어 펜더는 기본 모델보다 60mm 넓어 안정적이고 서스펜션을 낮추면서 19인치 휠과 타이어를 끼웠다.

엔진 출력향상에 필연적으로 따르는 브레이크 보강도 빼놓을 수 없다. 800 E V12 카브리올레의 앞 브레이크 로터는 380 X 37mm에 달하며 12피스톤 캘리퍼를 조합해 강력한 제동력을 발휘한다.  


First the sedan, then the coupe and now the cabriolet: With the 800-hp (788-bhp) / 588-kW BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo twelve-cylinder high-capacity engine in the body of the open-top Mercedes E-Class BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, Internet www.brabus.com) further expands the legendary E V12 family. Like its brethren, the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet is a high-performance automobile of superlatives: the special model reaches a top speed of up to 370 km/h (231 mph) and is the world most powerful and fastest four-seater cabriolet. It is built to order starting at EUR 478,000.

In building this supercar the BRABUS engineers drew upon the know-how gained from building numerous E V12 sedans and coupes. Precision work was required to implant the BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo engine and a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission in the engine bay of the E-Class Cabriolet.

The most powerful engine in the BRABUS lineup is based on the three-valve V12 engine of the current Mercedes S 600 model. The company engine-building shop reengineers this engine in all aspects. A special crankshaft with longer stroke and larger pistons in conjunction with increased cylinder bore bumps displacement from standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cu. in.). Further modifications to the engine inner workings include cylinder heads optimized for mixture flow and sports camshafts.

The engine peripherals are reworked just as extensively: Two special exhaust manifolds with integrated larger turbochargers ensure a more efficient turbocharging process. The BRABUS biturbo system is rounded out with four water-to-air intercoolers which also make a crucial contribution to the exceptional power yield. The stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes was created specifically for the E-Class Cabriolet. The intake side was also completely redesigned: Under the custom-built hood with integrated carbon-fiber ram-air hood scoop is a completely newly developed intake manifold.

The perfect interaction of all performance-increasing measures is coordinated by newly programmed mapping for the electronic engine management system.

The BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo powertrain, lubricated with high-tech lubricants from technology partner ARAL, transforms the four-seater convertible into the most powerful and fastest of its kind in the world. 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), limited electronically in the car to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft), are as unique as the driving performance this car delivers.

The power cabriolet is equipped with a BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent, and sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. After 9.9 seconds the exclusive automobile already reaches a speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The 300-km/h (186-mph) barrier shatters after 23.9 seconds. Depending on the final-drive ratio the BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet has a top speed of up to 370 km/h (231 mph).

Sophisticated aerodynamic properties are essential for directional stability and active safety in a car capable of attaining such enormous speeds. The sporty yet elegant BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement components were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel, and like in Formula 1 racing they are made from ultra-light yet high-strength carbon fiber.

The BRABUS front apron is shaped to reduce lift on the front axle and to guide a maximum amount of cooling air to the radiators and front brakes of the V12 model. Air outlets in the sides route the hot air away from the heat exchangers as quickly as possible. LED daytime running lights integrated into the apron give the E V12 Cabriolet an unmistakable appearance that can be quickly identified even in the rearview mirror.

For further improved directional stability at extremely high speeds and to further increase cornering speeds, BRABUS widens the body of the E-Class Cabriolet. Newly designed front sport fenders widen the track and allow the installation of ultra-wide 9.5Jx19 wheels mounted with size 265/30 ZR 19 tires.

Special carbon-fiber rear fender flares add 60 millimeters (2.4 inches) to the width of the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet. They create space for ten-inch wide wheels mounted with high-performance tires up to size 295/30 ZR 19, supplied by technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.

Professional engineering work was also invested into every detail of the suspension: special suspension components were custom-designed for the front and rear axle of the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet. They provide a much wider range of individual suspension settings. These components are joined by a BRABUS coil-over suspension calibrated to the higher engine weight. The suspension was developed together with Bilstein and features ten selectable settings for bound and rebound front and back. The ride height can also be adjusted by up to 35 millimeters to suit each driver뭩 personal preferences.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system easily masters the car뭩 incredible performance. It features 380 x 37 millimeter (15.0 x 1.45 in.), vented and grooved steel brake discs and 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle. The rear stops on 360 x 28 millimeter (14.2 x 1.1 in.) discs with 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers.

Naturally the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet also features an especially exclusive interior. The first vehicle of the small-series production run, which celebrated its public debut at BRABUS Middle East in Dubai, the company뭩 own branch in the United Arab Emirates, breaks the mold in this area as well. The cockpit is clad in a perfectly finished combination of lipstick-red and black leather.

The ergonomically shaped BRABUS steering wheel and inlays made from genuine carbon fiber on dashboard, center console and side trim add sporty highlights. The speedometer with 400-km/h (250-mph) dial bears witness to the unique performance potential of the open-top four-seater car even while it is standing still.
